Phi Sigma Iota
Phi Sigma Iota is an International Foreign Language Honor Society recognizing outstanding students in the academic fields of Foreign Language, Linguistics, Comparative Literature and Classics. The Emory chapter of PSI is operated by The Department of Spanish and Portuguese. Applications are available in the spring. Linguistics students interested in appying for membership must have completed two (2) language courses over the 201 level OR have taken at least 20 credits in classes designated "Linguistics". A cumulative GPA of 3.3 is required along with a GPA of 3.67 or higher in Language or Lingusitics courses.

Psi Chi
Psi Chi is the International Honor Society in Psychology. The Emory Chapter is conducted by student officers and a faculty member in the Psychology Department. To apply for membership, students must be enrolled as a major or minor in a psychology program or a program psychological in nature that is equivalent to a psychology major, must have completed at least 5 psychology courses, have an overall GPA that is in the top 35% of their class, and have a psychology GPA that is at least 3.00.
