National Honors Society
Phi Sigma Iota (PSI) is an International Foreign Language Honor Society recognizing outstanding students in the academic fields of Foreign Language, Linguistics, Comparative Literature, and Classics.
If interested in applying for membership, you must have completed two (2) language courses over the 201 level OR have taken at least 20 credits in classes designated "Linguistics". Applications are available in the spring. A cumulative GPA of 3.3 is required along with a GPA of 3.67 or higher in Language or Linguistics courses.
Psi Chi is the International Honor Society in Psychology. The Emory Chapter is conducted by student officers and a faculty member in the Psychology Department.
To apply for membership you must
- be enrolled as a major or minor in a psychology program or a program psychological in nature that is equivalent to a psychology major
- have completed at least 5 psychology courses
- have an overall GPA that is in the top 35% of their class
- have a psychology GPA that is at least 3.00
